2010 George Morris Scholar / Athlete Scholarship

2010 Whitey Zimmerman Scholar / Student Manager Scholarship

Every year in conjunction with the Georgia High School Association Senior Student-Athletes and Student Managers are nominated by Head Football Coaches across the State of Georgia.  The nominated students submit applications and are then reviewed by your Region Secretary and semi-finalists are then forwarded to The Greater Atlanta Chapter.  Final determination of the winners is made by a committee including Greater Atlanta Chapter Board Members, College Athletic Staff members, local Sports media, and Greater Atlanta Chapter NFF members.  Final decisions are made based on an overall profile of Athletics (40%), Academics (40%) and Community Service (20%). Each winner receives a $1000 scholarship to further their education in college and the top overall winner receives a $2000 scholarship.
